There are some sensational numbers frrom this year’s English OPEN as the dust settles and the immense size of the tournament can be truly realised.

A total of 3,509 players were registered for the tournament, which took place at the NEC in Birmingham for the first time.

By DUPR’s count, an incredible 6,067 matches took place.

One of the most special on-court feats came courtesy of Marcello Jardim, who took home a triple crown for the second year running.

And just after the close of the tournament, Pickleball England confirmed that they have now got more than 20,000 members – an amazing milestone.
