Biggest-ever Scottish Nationals about to start

The Scottish Nationals take place this weekend, with hundreds of players heading to the Scotstoun Sports Centre in Glasgow.

And spectators are very welcome in person, free of charge – with those a little further afield able to keep up with the action on some courts via Pickleball Scotland’s Facebook and YouTube.

The busiest categories are, unsurprisingly, the national doubles, with almost 100 players registered for the mixed competition alone, and 72 in the men’s.

But there are also 64 players ready to compete in the 50+ mixed doubles 3.5+ category, and 44 in the men’s 50+ 3.5+.

The action starts on Thursday 29th May and all results can be seen on the official website.
