The 2026 English OPEN will be hosted at Birmingham’s NEC – confirming its position as the biggest indoor tournament in the world.
Pickleball England are expecting the biggest event thus far, saying in a website statement: “What began with 305 players and 694 event registrations has evolved into a powerhouse competition welcoming 2,350 players and 4,321 registrations in 2025.
“The growth has been nothing short of extraordinary — and 2026 is set to raise the bar once again. We are targeting more than 3,000 player registrations and over 6,000 event registrations in 2026.”
They go on to explain that the NEC will be turned into a 60-court pickleball venue across the dates of the tournament, which runs from 11th to 16th August.
Registration for the event has not yet opened.
