One of Wales’s newest clubs is celebrating its first success courtesy of a medal at the Welsh Nationals.
Mawddach Pickleball Club, in south Gwynedd, has been running for just over a year.
They had five players competing at the tournament – two women’s doubles pairings plus a mixed doubles.

And Ruth Parry and Sue Nicholls got a bronze medal in the women’s 50+ 3.0 category.
What’s more, it was their first-ever competition as a partnership.
The club has around 40 members who attend the sessions across the Mawddach estuary area.
