Top player Mollie Knaggs is continuing her quest to inspire women in pickleball – with her latest all-female Mpower event a collaboration with ONE Pickleball.
Forty women – aged from 13 to 76, and of different playing levels – joined Mollie for the day at West London Pickleball Club for coaching, networking and of course time on court.
And they all took away a gift bag created by Mollie herself – who singled out colleagues Sabine Brezina and Anty Giuliano for thanks.
“They have believed in me and the initiative from the beginning,” she says. “They are the definition of empowered women empower women and they give so much time and energy to the events and all the ladies love seeing them and getting to play with top players like them too.”
She adds: “The events are and always will be incredibly special to me. They are everything I hope to be and everything I stand for, inspiring and uplifting other girls and women, building their confidence and making hem realise their own self-worth. I’m so excited about the next event I can’t wait!”
That will be in Southampton on 20th July as Mollie attempts to bring her Mpower events to different places around the UK.
“The coaching sold out in five minutes so I’m figuring out how I can open up more spots for coaching throughout the day,” she says. “I hope we can see as many ladies there as last time. I love these events so much because they empower me just as much as I aim to empower everyone who attends.”
