Josh Bright – captain of R3 in the Premier Pickleball League – swept the board in the Slovak Open, picking up a triple crown.
He partnered Viktoria Kanichova to mixed doubles gold, Stuart Parminter to men’s doubles gold (in a very close match against Alberto Seccia and Matteo Cugliari, 11-8, 10-12, 11-8), and beat Krisztian Kaszoni in the men’s singles final.
“I’m very happy that all the hard work is paying off,” Josh told Pickleball 52. “In the last few months I’ve been spending a lot of time on and off the court to improve my game, to get stuff like this done.
“I’m very happy it’s slowly coming in – with the results as well!”
Josh’s team R3 are currently top of the Premier Pickleball League with three wins and one loss after two match weekends.
