Registration has closed for next month’s English OPEN – and a new benchmark has been set.
According to a social media post from Pickleball England, 3,387 registrations have been received – 50 per cent up on last year’s tally.
In 2025, 2,348 players took part in the event in Telford; this year, due to the increasing demand, the showcase tournament will take place at Birmingham’s NEC across six days, starting from Tuesday 11th August.
Sixty courts will be in play for what will be the biggest indoor pickleball tournament in the world. Tickets for the championship courts are available now.
