Registration for Pickleball England’s unique Unity Cup at the English OPEN has been extended – with entrants now able to get their forms in up until Wednesday 5th August.
The Unity Cup has its roots in pickleball’s origins as a social community, complete with wooden paddles, with every player drafted into one of two teams, Team Edge or Team Pulse. Players of different ratings and ages can compete alongside each other, with matches devised to ensure equal cumulative ability on each side.
Players don’t need to be entered into the English OPEN to be part of this special day of competition on Thursday 13th August, and families or playing partners can flag up that they want to be drafted into the same team.
Find out more about the event and get signed up ahead of Wednesday’s deadline via the Pickleball England site.
