UK’s Jason gets coveted APP spot

One of the UK’s best young players is hoping to head to the USA and join the APP training program at the famed Fort in Florida.

Jason Edwards Pereira is the first British player to be offered a place to train under Ken Herrmann and his Next Gen team.

Jason – currently the top-ranked British man aged under 19 – has been playing at Pickleball Central since its establishment in 2022.

“Jason is a naturally talented athlete, with an incredible work ethic for his age, and is sure to go far,” says clubmate Fe Edwards.

There is a GoFundMe to support Jason with the costs he will incur.
