Volunteers wanted for Pickleball England presence at Family Traveller

Pickleball England will once again be at the huge Family Traveller event at the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham – and they’re asking for volunteers to help run taster sessions for newcomers to the sport.

Last year, a team of more than 30 volunteers put on nearly 800 taster sessions across the weekend. With one roll-out court and one taped court, 364 gave the game a go on Saturday – and the incredible numbers meant 433 tried it out on Sunday with an additional third court marked up and in use.

This year, PbE chair Karen Mitchell is hoping that over a thousand newbies will give it a go, with three roll-out courts there for the duration, on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March.
