Anglesey (Ynys Môn) Pickleball are celebrating some success – with their A team sealing their place in the English National Clubs Championships later this month.
The club sent two teams to compete in the north-west England regional tournament at the end of June to close out a 12-month season.
Ynys Môn’s B team topped Division 4 – while Ynys Môn A came up from the second division to finish second in the top division, meaning they will battle it out for the trophy.

“We are so proud of all the players from our small island who have contributed over the last 12 months and who have now been invited to take part in the English National Clubs Championships which will take place in Leeds on the 12th of July,” Pickleball Wales’s Kath Knowles told Pickleball 52. “It is a true credit to a great club and all its members.
“Pickleball Wales would like to wish them all the very best of luck and hope they have loads of fun in trying to achieve more greatness with a fighting chance to bring bring the first Cup of its kind back to Anglesey and North Wales.
“For now it’s a huge congratulations to everyone who has participated over the last 12 months to get to this point!”
